I was honored to capture Rachel & Shane’s wedding in Lynchburg back in June. Yes, I am really behind. Told you, internet. Good thing “Schoooool’s out for-EVERRRRR!” Don’t judge.

Remember their engagement session from a year ago? Well, after over six years of waiting, they are finally husband and wife! It was such a beautiful ceremony, and I was so blessed to be a part of it. Here are some of my favorites from the day…

Ya’ll know how I feel about Starbucks. :)

Gorgeous. Gorgeous. Gorgeous.

You’ve probably never seen so many pictures of the bride’s shoes before on my blog. But hellooooo?! Pink, gold, platforms, hearts, and bows? I die.

I love a bride who loves her Mac. :)

One of my favorites…

Love is awesome.

Happy Monday! :)

Hi. I’m Kelsey.

I figured it was only appropriate to re-introduce myself since I’ve been completely MIA from my blog for the last eight weeks… I call it my “Unintentional Hiatus”. I used to consider myself a blogger, but more recently, I have been a professional student and traveler. And that is the reason for my hiatus. This is a pretty accurate summary of the last 8 weeks of my life:

-shot 5 weddings (only one in Jacksonville, of course)

-traveled to Lynchburg (2x’s), Knoxville, Outer Banks, Cincinnati, St. Augustine, Daytona Beach, and Atlanta

-took my last 3 Seminary classes online (KILLED me)

-lived out of a suitcase for 46 of the last 56 days (miserable)

-didn’t blog

-pretty much had no life

It’s been a good but very hard & stressful summer. Thankfully, I finished my classes and am DONE WITH SCHOOL FOREVER! Praise God from Whom all blessings flow. Its amazing how much more time I have now that I’m done, so this is my official return to blogging… Even though I never officially left.

Needless to say, I have A TON to blog. Weddings, portrait sessions, things I love, (Yes, I’m still convinced that people care about what I love.), and my random thoughts. Get excited, Internet. Get. Excited.

After Justin & Grace’s beautiful farm wedding, I got to spend some time doing portraits of with one of Grace’s sisters, Holly. She recently moved to Europe and has been putting up tons of amazing pictures on Facebook that are making me super jealous. Before she left the country, Holly wanted some pictures done with her horse. Just another opportunity for me to get over one of my biggest fears. :) She is definitely a natural beauty, has a great laugh and smile, and I just love her spunk. :) Here are some of my favorites from our shoot…

Fav, fav, fav! Holly… You are STUNNING!

A close second for my favorite…

Gorgeous!! And I love, love, love her freckles… Not biased at all! :)

See what I’m saying? Just a natural beauty… I could have shot her all day.

Annie Kate, one of Holly’s six sisters, jumped in for one. :)

And then her boyfriend Tyler snuck in a few too. :)

I think these last four images are just perfect to fit her personality and spirit. :)

Happy Thursday!
