Here’s a look at Beach Camp in Destin… So blessed to be able to serve some AWESOME students alongside my Husbie. :)

Started the 18 hour bus ride to Destin looking a lot happier than we were 10 hours in…

Arrived in our AWESOME condo, stood in a longggg line for Tijuana Flatts (well worth it!), and started out camp the right way.

Spent the week with these amazing girls and helped Aaron run the rec time, while getting super sweaty & hoping no one would die.

Listened to the hubs teach on 1 John 4 (SO hott & holy!!!), had Sonny’s BBQ (praise God from whom all blessings flow), and watched a classic game of Mercy go down (throwback to 2nd grade!).

Took lots of pictures (mainly awkward ones).

Watched the beautiful Desi & Dari get baptized in the most crystal clear water I’d ever seen (so proud of them!).

Had a photoshoot on the beach, was reminded how much I love Florida skies, and did some serious relaxing! :)

Spent a lot of time in corporate worship with my brothers & sisters in Christ… Amazed at what the Lord has done!

Kissed a little peeker!, took some more beach pictures, and watched a crazy awesome storm roll in.

Headed home through the boonies of Louisiana, watched the classic Spiderman, and finally finished The Hunger Games trilogy (still team Gale!).

Happy Tuesday! :)

I’ve been sitting here for 20 minutes trying to compile a list of my happys & sads in my head. I could make a list of happys that is about 20 miles long and can only think of one sad. What a great week it’s been! :)

1. My dear friends David & Rachel had a sweet little baby girl yesterday! Her name is Macy-Beth, and she is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. I got to spend some time yesterday in the hospital with them & their families documenting the first few hours of her life. Check it out here.

2. Eliza & Jordan are coming to visit today! Only 29 days until they’re married! YAY! :)

3. I finished a project that I had wanted to do for a while… It wasn’t going so great at first, so I restarted. Now I LOVE the result! (More to come on my office in a few weeks!)

4. Aaron & I leave for FLORIDA on Sunday with all the Cross Church high schoolers for Beach Camp! Oh, how I cannot wait to step out of that bus & feel that Florida humidity. It’s been tooooooo long! :) We will be in Destin for the week, and I’m so excited cause I’ve never been there!

5. I have a really amazing husband. Sometimes, I think my heart is going to explode because of how much I love him.

1. My only sad is that I will not be blogging for an entire week because I will be at Beach Camp. I decided not to bring my computer because hello… #1 – It’s Florida. #2 – I will be distracted by almost 300 awesome people. #3 – It’s Florida.

Happy weekend, Internet!

Welcome to the world, Macy-Beth McKinney. You arrived late this morning at 11:49am, weighing 6lbs 13oz, and you’re 19.5 inches long. You are so perfect in every way. You are the most blessed little baby because your parents are going to love you with the perfect love of Christ. You brought so much joy to my heart today… I have never felt so honored to take pictures in my entire life.

Best Thursday ever. :)

Barbara - Okay…only met David and Rachel once, but can’t stop crying for the gift of Macy-Beth!!

Lord, bless their surrendered lives as they raise Macy-Beth in fear and admonition of You and You alone. Use their family to further Your kingdom as they make it their goal to please You (2 Cor. 5:9) for Your glory and their good. AMEN!
